A native of Venezuela and a Culinary school graduate, Monica Vasquez moved to the United States to pursue her profession.
She worked as a sous chef at an Italian restaurant for six years. Vasquez later joined Barking Mad, a New American-Inspired cuisine, as a sous chef and was quickly promoted to chef in Spring 2017. She is continuously practicing new techniques and challenging herself using seasonal ingredients in order to give guests the best dining experience.
We have a gleaming open kitchen that features a hot-wood burning oven where diners can watch the magic happen. At Barking Mad, we believe in serving our guests the freshest, most flavorful ingredients that are healthy, sustainable, and delicious with every bite.
